Product QuestionsAnswered by Jim, the Water Pump Expert
Where is the motor manufactured?
John B.
from Pennsylvania

Answer
Most, if not all Lancaster deep well pumps listed on our website have the Hydro-Force motor which is built in Italy. They do also offer most of them with a Franklin motor which would be available as a special order.

Do I need to buy a check valve or anything else with this pump?
Jim
from Connecticut
March 03, 2017
Answer
These pumps do include a built-in check valve. If however, your total vertical head lift exceeds 100 feet, you would need to install an additional check valve at every 100 foot level. You can also check out the Pump Manual for additional accessories that you may need to purchase. Please note that we only provide the pump. Any additional accessories needed for installation should be accessible at your local hardware or big box store.
