Product Questions Answered by Jim, the Sump Pump Expert
BWC1 questions: 1. Is the 15 amp limit for pump start or run amps? (Many pumps have start amps greater than 15) Will this work with a pump that has start 23 amps and run 10 amps or a pump that has start 16 amps and run 7.5 amps? 2. What is the distance between the bottom and upper float rings? For instance, if the bottom float ring fails then how much higher will the water go before the upper float ring is activated? 3. What are the dimensions of the BCW1? Thank you.

I have a utility vault that i need to control water infiltration on. I have to control the pump within a 4" vertical rise in water. What switch will work for me. The vault does not have a sump area and i cannot put one in. Thats the reason for the four inch problem. I need it to come on when there is two or three inches of water in the vault.
