Although I can make no comparisons to other pumps, this little Tanaka runs like the Japanese MBT (Main Battle Tank) and does far better than I expected.
Its combined head is about thirty feet and it feeds two five-eighth hoses that, taken together, amount to about 300 feet in length.
The little .75 liter fuel tank runs slightly over an hour at three-quarter engine speed and waters fifteen beds (of tomatoes, peppers, flowers, and herbs), each four by forty-five feet.
When I add another six or seven beds I'll have to devise an auxiliary fuel tank, for the tiny fuel tank is my only complaint. The Japanese don't understand American scale. Here, bigger is often not just better but necessary.
