A: Install the pump in a clean, dry, and ventilated location that provides adequate drainage, room for servicing, and protection from freezing temperatures. Bolt down the pump evenly on a good foundation, preferably concrete, to prevent the development of unnecessary stress. Locate the pump as close as possible to the water supply to reduce friction losses in the suction pipe and to provide for maximum capacities. A foot valve must be used. Red Lion Sprinkler Pump
We were once again in need of a new water pump for our irrigation system. I decided to go online and see options available, however I knew these pumps were heavy and was concerned about shipping cost. I found this one on water pumps direct. It looked like a nice pump and shipping was free. I was very pleased with delivery time and the pump. It works great! I hope I won't be in need of another one any time soon, but would definitely buy from here again!
