I use this on my in-ground pool cover and inside the pool also. This is the 3rd pump I've owned and the best of the 3. I not only use it to pump water off the cover but I've also used it to pump 3 ft of water out of the bottom of my pool itself. This thing works like a large machine and pumps fast.
I looked and searched and read reviews on pumps for a while and I'm so glad i decided on this pump. I love that the filter is hard plastic and curved shaped so the leaves and large debris float right off of the suction part and don't clog it up. Many other pumps have a foam type filter that collects all kinds of trash on them and clog very easy. I love the price too! I would definitely recommend this pump for ANY kind of pool.
